What is it you’ve always wanted to try?
New experiences will broaden your horizons

Â
Why bother?
Finding something we enjoy gives us energy, and increases our overall emotional wellbeing. So if its hill-walking in Wales, learning to hula hoop, discovering hidden gems in your local area or even joining a choir — there’s never been a better time to try these things
Â
What do I need to know?
Decide what you want to ‘experience’ and look out for organised events near you. They’ll usually be hosted by an expert in their field. Some will be ‘free’ to join, some you may need to pay for. If you fancy learning to forage – you’ll probably be best off learning from people who’ve done it before, and who can give you tips and advice
Â
The bottom line
You won’t know if you like something until you try it. And don’t beat yourself up if it’s not for you. Move on. And don’t be shy about joining a group or being the novice.
If you’re feeling stuck in rut, and generally uninspired; put yourself out there to try some new.
Why not take a course or workshop to learn something new?
