I help mid-lifers with their mental health and wellbeing via individual and couples therapy, groups and workshops, to create a meaningful midlife. In midlife, external events may throw you into crisis or you might desire change and greater personal growth. Having a space to honestly reflect and explore your needs, desires and how to meet them, within the context of a supportive relationship can help you to navigate these areas.
I qualified in 2008 as a gestalt psychotherapist. Gestalt focuses on raising awareness – of our needs, our wounds – and finding creative, rather than habitual ways, of meeting them. At heart it is about helping people to live authentically, it honours our unique ways of being. I have also completed training in EMDR, a mode of therapy which treats trauma. It is recognised by the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) and then World Health Organisations (WHO).
