Whitecalm Signature Meditation and Mindfulness Day
A busy mind can be exhausting, recycling the same thoughts over and over and struggling to leave work at work or home at home. Our Signature Meditation and Mindfulness days have been designed to help you to switch off the mental chatter and completely unwind. Through a variety of simple activities, you will delve into an increased state of wellbeing. Learn to appreciate the small things in life by cultivating your inner sense of health and joy through meditation, deep relaxation and mindfulness.
9.30am to 10.00am – Morning Welcome with Refreshments – an introduction to mindful practice and Meditation.
10.00am to 11.30am – Mindfully Managing – How does our state of stress and/or relaxation affect our breath, our body, our energy? How can we use mindfulness to support our body both physically and mentally during stressful times?
11.30am – 11.45am – Short Break for Refreshments
11.45am to 12.30pm – Walking Meditation – experience the Japanese Art of Shinrin Yoku, ‘Forest Bathing’ in the beautiful grounds
12.30pm to 1.30pm – A Healthy Lunch is provided
1.30pm to 2.30pm – Post Lunch Deep Relaxation – using the Yogic Sleep Practice, Yoga Nidra, body scans and breath awareness to experience complete relaxation, deep rest and stress reduction.
2.30pm to 2.45pm – Short Break for Refreshments
2.45pm to 3.45pm – Sound & Silence – How does sound or silence affect our body and state of being? Using sound baths and silence during meditation and breathing practices you will experience and understand the power of both.
3.45pm to 4.00pm – Short Break for Refreshments
4.00pm to 5.00pm – Meditation for a Positive Mind – What is a positive mind? In this active workshop you will learn different positive mind training techniques (a practice similar to CBT) to help enhance your greatest asset! Finishing with a recap of the day with lots of tips to take home!
